Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God. Colossians 3:22
..Well you could also use that principle when you work.. To your boss.. company. You give your all – you obey them because your doing it unto the Lord. That’s what’s behind all this. My obedience is unto God – for His glory. ‘ Christian Obedience ‘
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Colossians 3:23
So there you are – your obedience is not to men, although you are doing it to men – it’s to God..
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance for ye serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:24
But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done and there is no respect of persons. Colossians 3:25
..So those that rebel – those that are disobedient.. that do wrong – will be repayed. What you sow is what you reap. You see that principle in everyones life in this world. The way they’re living or what’s happening or what they’re going through.. That tells you how that persons life is – what they’re sowing to.
Sowing And Reaping
For the Christian we can sow to the Spirit. Sowing to the Spirit is doing God’s will – obedience. That’s what is means. What about Ephesians six and verse five.
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Ephesians 6:5
Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; Ephesians 6:6
With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Ephesians 6:7
Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. Ephesians 6:8
And also to masters – be good and look after them. It’s all there.. ..
