Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Heart After God
.. Father may we apply that wisdom – the Word of God. May we heed that which You would have us to hear. It’s always in Your love and grace and mercy – it’s The Father’s heart to preserve protect and keep us from the evil one, but also from deceiving ourselves. We thank you Lord also for the encouragement that comes from this, how we have seen that it’s little strength. We don’t have a lot but what we do have is a heart that we place on the alter and give to You, and that is what pleases you ..
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
.. You are teaching and showing us Father what pleases You and it is faithfulness, it is staying with it. It is not deviating or wandering off or looking else where, but just to keep coming and listening and allowing The Word to do its work in our lives and hearts. Thankyou Father.. forgive us when we make it so difficult for ourselves – when we look to the ‘arm of the flesh’ or to man. We know that there is always a snare to it, it becomes a hindrance and confusing. But when we turn away and look fully to you then everything just melts away and You take that burden..
The Spirit And The Bride Say ‘Come’ (Rev.22:17)
.. Father all you have said is ‘ come ‘ follow me – just that one word. But Lord there are times we don’t do it – we do anything but come to You. Father we are learning by your grace and mercy. We are learning through our trials that man does not have the answer and it’s no good looking to the world or man. It is always looking to You and waiting upon You as You lead and guide by You Spirit which You always do. Because Father You are ever attentive to hear the cries of Your people. And so we thank you Father for this.
Lord bless preserve and keep my brothers and sisters. May the joy of The Lord be their strength. May they continue with that zeal to always seek You daily and walk with You not in the flesh but in The Spirit. This we ask now in Jesus name, Jesus name.
Colossains 2:1 For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Colossians 4:15 Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
16 And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
