.. When you receive Christ as your saviour you now walk totally by faith. The Holy Spirit who has quickened .. and given that gift of faith to you to believe in the first place now is going to work with us so that we come to that walk of faith …
The Faith Walk Is In The Power Of God
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 1Corinthians 2:5
.. And there is the clue to understanding faith. So many want to walk a walk of faith but they walk it in the wisdom of men and not in the power of God. The wisdom of man will destroy any seed of faith that is there if you persist .. However if you listen with your heart to the Word .. we begin to understand that it takes the power of God to work on your behalf to believe.
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1Peter 1:5
Religion is the belief in the wisdom and power of man and his idea of God. Religion will always crucify the risen Lord Jesus Christ because it doesn’t have the power to believe. Mans power doesn’t last .. as you get older .. dissipates.
God has provided His power, His grace, His mercy to enable us to believe. .. To stay with it. .. That is the wonder of all of this and we must never forget this as we preach faith … … … “
