And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. Genesis 3:12
And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. Genesis 3:13
..Man has got to be restored back from the weakness that was created with Adam right there when he fell. Because he reacted – he made an excuse – he blamed the women. When you blame the woman the woman will react. She will react and do what she knows best to do. It is in the nature of a woman to protect children. She is a homemaker or she should be – that is what God has put within her. We each of us have roles, it is wrong when we demand that those roles change. And so sadly the reactions that come from a lot of women today is they want men to take on that role as well as them. ‘ Act Or React. ‘
God Given Roles
The man is the provider – the breadwinner, he is the protector over his family – his wife. It all goes wrong when the roles begin to change. God has given us gifts and abilities. We have to operate within those gifts and abilities that He gives us. It’s the same with the gifts in the church whether the 5-fold or supernatural gifts or natural talents. Where there are physical jobs to be done – generally that is a man’s role. He has been made physically stronger for that purpose. The women’s role requires a strength in a different way.
Opportunity To Act
There is also strength that is needed mentally – how you approach or attack a thing – there is that mental strength that is needed. What I’m saying is there are roles that God has given us in this life and of course the enemy has fouled it all up. It just shows what has happened to the crown of God’s creation right there in Genesis. Adam had every opportunity to act – admit and own up. But sin had already got in.. ..
