He has sent the Holy Spirit – the scrutiny of the Holy Spirit to deal with all of those things within us.. because we want our own way..

Perfection Of Consecration
We’re calling this today ‘The Scrutiny Of The Holy Spirit.’ So much of The Holy Spirit is understood from a theological point of view, and of course that has it’s place. Much of our experience with God firstly comes through teaching.. As the Word takes hold of our lives and the seed of the Word is sown into our hearts so it becomes that living reality.
Unlike any other book that we can read the Word of God the bible is the only book that can be translated into reality – into a knowing personal experience.. .. ..
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
.. a perfection of faith character and consecration..that is what the beatittudes are about.. addressing our conscience. The conscience is where the Holy Spirit prompts us – makes us sensitive.. What nature did you exhibit yesterday..this morning? Were you sinning with your tongue? Were you disgruntled, angry moody, depressed? God is concerned about that – very concerned.
The Holy Spirit In Our Lives
Jesus said.. John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
.. but we still have so little understanding of the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. So often He is known somehow as a power, but the reality is He presents the living risen Christ – as if Christ were with us. When we experience the Holy Spirit in this way we begin to experience the Fathers heart – His love.
The Holy Spirit has not only come to comfort us but also to convict us. Gripped by His mercy love and grace. A Jesus disciple is under God’s microscope and nothing escapes His eyes.
The purpose of the indwelling Holy Spirit is to produce firstfruits unto the Lord. And so a Kingdom seeking disciple will be summoned to the Holy Spirit’s court of conviction. He/she cannot escape His scrutiny.
Our Way Or God’s Way
Failure to agree quickly with this call of the conscience will incur penalties..
Matthew 5:25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
Matthew 5:26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
..Sadly the would be overcomer has landed in the fires of purification and will remain there until He/she knows from the heart that the last penny is paid!
Now Jesus paid the last penny at Calvary. He stood in the dock on our behalf and said ‘I will pay the dept’. However the disciple has to know this as a heart experience
When you yield to Him He’s going start to get you out of prison. When you start to be honest and humble yourself and admit you got it wrong – that sin in your heart – then that penalty will be paid – because He paid it at calvary.

When the conscience has become sensitive to the the Redeemers voice within the heart quickly and joyfully responds in worship and obedience. This is walking in the power of the Spirit with Jesus as Lord.
