Ephesians 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
The Potter And The Clay
.. God never forces you see, He’s given us a free will. It is only when we count and settle the cost of discipleship that we begin to walk each day in [submission to] The [Holy] Spirit as He works on our inner man to change and strengthen it. We’ve given you many times the analogy of the potter and the clay, how that the clay is put on that wheel and the potter begins to work to mould that clay. What is He doing there? He’s working with the inner man, He’s changing these hearts of stone to hearts of flesh, He’s putting a right spirit within us..
.. It is a work.. a process. As we know Rome wasn’t built in a day. So that is what we are meaning by being strengthened in the inner man. The Ephesian church is a blessed church but He had one thing against them..
Revelation 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love..
Moved By The Spirit
.. ‘ You are forgetting relationship – why you have been saved. ‘ The busiest Christians are the least spiritual, it is about a balance in which we are led and moved by The Holy Spirit. It is The Holy Spirit working through us not us doing it.. This comes as we yield and do not resist or fight Him ..
Truth In The Inmost Parts
.. As we yield to The Spirit so He begins to work in the inner man. It is in the heart that He works it is the heart He changes. This is why He permits us to go through trials and testings in order to expose the real person. We’re all right when we’re on the mountain top and what we’ll do for God is nobody’s business, but when He allows us to go into the valley with the demon possessed that is when our true nature is revealed, and there is a reason for this.. .. ..
