Making Ourselves Ready
.. Can you see now brothers and sisters how this is all unfolding? How we are in the time of The Great Apostasy and that all these events are shortly to happen? But God says at the moment that the church is the restrainer and it’s only going to be for a season. That is why we must allow The Holy Spirit to do His work. To not hinder in any way but let Him build through us His Body as The Bride is making herself ready..
Heart After God
.. He has given all the provision that is needed for her to make herself ready – to be white and pure – unspotted in His sight. Now how God is going to do that I don’t know, but I do know that is not by might, not by power but it is by the Spirit of The Lord. And of course what He’s looking at is our hearts. Where are our hearts? Where is the affection of our hearts? Where is the motive of our hearts, what is it set upon. Well it can only be set upon Him and Him alone..
The Great Restrainer At Work
.. And yes He tests us in this. Praise God for those tests and trials because they will tell you ‘ you’ve got an area where you’re still not trusting on The Lord, or your heart is not wholly following The Lord as it should be. Here is The Great Restrainer at work.. So that you and I can be ready for when He comes and so He will not come like a thief to us. He will come because we will be ready, we will be looking up because our redemption draws near. We are ‘ looking unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. ‘ (Hebrews 12:2).. .. ..
1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
2 John 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
1 John 4:3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
