“..I’m calling this teaching ‘ Spiritual Wanderers Are In Rebellion ‘. When God called the Children Of Israel He called them in a state of rebellion and a stiff necked people. He’d chosen out of all nations to fellowship with them. In order to do that they had to be brought out of Egypt – out of Babylon.
God was trying to get out of their heart this rebellion – their wanting to do it their way….4o years wandering in the wilderness. And the question that I raise is – is this what is going on today? It is!
No Discipleship Is Confusion
We are still finding many that profess Christ’s name are in spiritual rebellion. They don’t like it when He begins to put that grip on them, and they like to feel that they’re free on there own terms and conditions.
And that is why sadly the church is in the state that it is, and why there is so much confusion. Very little discipleship – I mean true discipleship – is never taught or preached. If it ever was taught as Jesus taught it it would sadly empty most churches. But thank God that He’s got a remnant who will respond and who will allow the Holy Spirit to work godly affections.
But one of the problems we have is spiritual wanderers today – they are in rebellion. Christians who are professing believers who go from one place to another, from one ministry to another, who never settle down – actually the diagnosis of that is rebellion….
And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them. Zechariah 10:6
