Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. John 16:13-15
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Revelation 7:17
Learning To Trust Him
.. Had it not been for a remnant God has had through every generation the Christian church would no longer exist. And that remnant are led and taught by The Holy Spirit. They have learnt to trust Him. That’s why we go through trials and tribulations which are all taylormade so that we can learn to trust Him and not doubt Him. He guides us by teaching – literally showing the way.. Every day when you get up He’s showing you the way to walk – what path He has set for you. You have a decision, you can decide to follow that path or you can ignore that path, but He has come guiding – showing the way. ‘ Only The Holy Spirit Can Be Trusted. ‘
Separate From The World – Tuned In To The Spirit
He’s showing us who we should associate with or we shouldn’t associate with. He’s showing us good company and bad company.. danger ahead. We have The Holy Spirit who is guiding us. Again He’s the Spirit of Truth. So He literally shows us the way. So God not only teaches us, gives us light.. but also guides us. The only way for this is to allow the Holy Spirit to separate your heart and affections from the world. The path that God has chosen for us is not a path you will even think about let alone entertain in the flesh. God’s ways are not our ways – His thoughts are not our thoughts. That is why we have to be men women who walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. (Romans 8)
Now one of the ways in which God is speaking to the Church in these closing days is prophetically.. .. ..
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. Joel 2:28-32
Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock; Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them. For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. Ezekiel 34:7-11
And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's. Obadiah 1:21
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Psalm 51:5,6
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psalm 91:4
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Romans 1:18
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Ephesians 4:15
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; Ephesians 6:14
This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. John 5:6-12
