..The Deeper Life is yielding to the Spirit. It’s that self emptying, it’s that growth into the Fulness of Christ. I’m sure that you are aware that most of what God is doing with you ..and me each day – He’s bringing us to a place to yield. And He’s shown us what a lot of that yielding is, it’s letting go. Am I right that that is what God is doing with you? He’s bringing you to places where He wants you to let go – to yield. You’re all saying amen, praise God we’re in the right place – that is called growing up into His fulness. ‘ Many Never Progress Beyond Pentecost. ‘
Pentecost – The Doorway To Fulness
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:1-4
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:14
The Goal Of The Spirit
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Ephesians 3:14-19
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1Corinthians 2:9-10
Progressing Into Maturity
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:11-16
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:13
For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. John 3:34
Fully Yielded And Fulness
The bible says that the Spirit was not given unto Him by measure. He possessed the Spirit in fulness, therefore to the extent that we are fully yielded to the Spirit will we also know of His fulness. The Church – she is to possess ‘ The Promised Land ‘ – The Fulness. And what is that fulness now? It is Christ in you the hope of glory. He is The Fulness, He is ‘ The Promised Land. ‘ The Church must accomplish this before The Rapture comes..
The Battle Is The Lord’s
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12
..They are trying to stop the sons of God from coming forth.. And so it’s a yielding of ones life, one’s will.. spirit. It’s allowing the Holy Spirit to completely control me. It’s one’s entire body mind soul and spirit completely subjected to the lordship of Jesus Christ. Only the baptism of the Holy Spirit can accomplish this.
It is His Bride He’s wanting now. Sheep must be put in the right pastures. Sheep are very timid creatures, they are disturbed very easily. They need to feel that security.. that protection. They need to know that they are fed regularly.. I have no doubt that I am in those pastures with you my brothers and sisters. The Great Shepherd Jesus is watching over us day and night.. .. ..
