Resurrection Blessings
.. The Cross that we are to take daily and follow The Lord is the very best He has for us. Why because The Cross not only deals with death it deals with resurrection. Resurrection comes from death and resurrection blessings are the very best God has for you and I. That is something I’ve never heard before – ‘ resurrection blessings. ‘ Praise God there is revelation to us! That is what comes from The Cross if we are willing to allow The Spirit to work in us for the very best that God has for us – those resurrection blessings..
Genesis 13:1 And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. 2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. 3 And he went on his journeys from the south even to Beth-el, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Beth-el and Hai; 4 unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the Lord..
..5 And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. 6 And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together. 7 And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. 8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren. 9 Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left. 10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. 11 Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. 12 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom. 13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly..
Affection, Discernment and Choice
.. And here is a story of exactly what I am talking about. You see we’re going to find in our walk of faith that we have to make choices. It’s based on the affection of the heart and discernment. That is why we constantly have to look to our hearts and keep our hearts open before The Lord for only God can search the heart.. So this is why God continually does that spiritual heart surgery and there’s no finer way for God to do that than to come together under the anointing – those ministries that God sets over us – in which to help us to see what is in the heart – so that we can confess and bring it out and place it under the Blood of Jesus – for The Blood of Jesus cleanses – it covers – it casts it away as far as east is to the west ..
Removing Hindrances To Right Choices
.. This is how faith comes – by hearing The Word of God because we have a lot of hindrances to our faith that have to be removed so that we can then believe. How often have you experienced when going through a trial or when God is exposing some areas that are displeasing to Him. When finally it’s dealt with you don’t have any problem believing any more. It’s there! Your faith is like naturally breathing in and out, in and out – all the time. That’s what our faith is and should be. For what? To make those right choices and decisions.. .. ..
.. 14 And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: 15 for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. 16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. 17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. 18 Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Lord.
2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5 and spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 7 and delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8 (for that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 9 the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. 3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
