John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
Faith Is All About A Person
.. It’s so easy to get caught up in the everyday life and activities. We know that we are to walk by faith because that is how we please God, but we can very often lose sight of the object of our faith. Of course the object of our faith is The Lord Himself. Our faith is about a person and that is why it is real. It is not simply reading promises off pages in a book. Everything that we read and we hear points to the person of Jesus Christ who divested Himself and took on human flesh. He became a man – that is why He is GodMan – risen triumphant and glorified..
The One And Only Overcomer
.. He has overcome all the weaknesses and problems – everything attached to and associated with human beings. He has overcome every obstacle. He has overcome every trial of your faith, every personal thing that you go through, even those things that we would be ashamed of. Even those things that cause us to question at times ‘ can I be saved – can I be a Christian ? Everything imaginable that even enters your mind and thinking He has overcome. He is the object of our faith!..
Eyes Only For Jesus
.. So often we have objects and desires other than Jesus and we wonder why we aren’t fulfilled. And that is why The Lord is forever getting our attention. Whenever we veer off – something else takes our attention away from The Lord you will begin to see Him work. Why does He do that? Because God is jealous over you. You are going to thank God that He is jealous over you. Not only for what it has cost Him to purchase you but His jealousy means that He is not going to let anything else hinder your faith or take your eyes or heart away from the object of your faith who is Jesus and Him and Him alone.. .. ..

John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
John 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
