Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
An Outright Attack
.. What was Satan doing – he was attacking in these areas of feelings and emotions – these senses that we have. It’s an outright attack on believing today – this is still what he does. We call it unbelief because this is where he attacks. And this is where you have to be open and humble and honest. You have to observe and examine yourself..
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Drawing Strength From The Word
.. This is where he’s going to attack me. My next trial – my next test of faith – this is where Satan will try and attack me – in my feelings and emotions – what I hear and see read and touch.. Do not deceive yourselves brothers and sisters, you have to face the fact that this is where he will attack you, and God gives him the access in which to do it, for the very reason that you begin to draw your faith your life your strength from the Word of God and the life of Christ that lives now in you – who has overcome all things..
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Love Not The World
..God will keep with this – reminding us of this, He will continue to allow us to go through the trials and testings that we go through until this drops from the head to the heart. And the only way you know where you are in the faith is when you face your trials, that is why He allows us to go through these things.. If my heart is still in the world – still trusting in the things of the world the love of the Father is not being perfected in me. This is a hindrance to His love.. Our faith to believe is motivated by the Father’s love and we draw from that love.. .. …
