The bible is unique – it’s alive! Faith is simply keeping our eyes on God’s Word – on Jesus the Word made flesh – putting our whole life and trust in that.
Living Faith In Jesus:
Living faith flows from a living person – Jesus is alive today this moment and forever. Pride and intellect thinks it understands the Word of God but eyes and hearts are not touched. And so where there is no sight of Jesus faith is impossible.
Matthew 17:20 (KJV)
.. Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV)
.. the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Faith ministered by the Spirit
The baptism in the Holy Spirit presents the personality of Christ Himself to the Jesus disciple. Therefore this makes the Word of God the life experience of faith. Faith is not intellectual bible exercise but heart revelation. It is also seed being sown into a heart kept hungry and thirsty by the Spirit.
Seeking and Enduring
Matthew 5:6 (KJV)
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
The Holy Spirit keeps the Jesus disciple hungry and thirsty with eyes only for Jesus – seeking and enduring
Matthew 7:7 (KJV)
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Matthew 24:13 (KJV)
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace
