Mark 8:2 I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:
.. He’s getting our prayers and intercessions right. He’s getting our walk right with God. He’s getting us to walk like Jesus walked and this is why He delays in His coming..
Exodus 32:1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us..
.. But when you bring trials through your own foolishness – when you start turning to idols those trials are different, they are chastening in nature to bring you back to God. You will thank God for His delays ‘ because of my stupidity – my blindness. The Lord could have come at that time – when I was sinning and falling away, but He didn’t. That is the mercy and longsuffering of God. Never forget this brothers and sisters.
All Things Work Together For Good (Romans 8:28)
Each day we walk with The Lord and if He’s delaying His coming this day there’s a good reason for it and I have a chance because He’s working. He’s working with me, He’s working with FGA.. all those who love The Lord.. all those who listen to this message.
Coping Or Conquering?
‘Coping with the delays of God’, I think we are realising it’s not such a problem as we thought.. How the enemy likes to blow it out of proportion, ‘ well look nothing much is happening, you’ve been in this walk for years, what little are you showing for it.’ Plausible, and that’s how he comes.. to seduce – working on your mind and circumstances. He’s trying to get your mind off The Lord and The Word of God.
Time Only To Prepare
God has made no mistake over each of us and this assembly. He’s ever working with us that we walk with Him each day and that our eyes are looking solely to Him and Him alone. And if it means delays then praise God He’s doing that work. The bride who makes herself ready – she only has eyes on one thing and that’s her bridegroom. She has got no time to waste on anything or anyone else. If that is not yet in your heart ask The Lord to place it there and He will.. .. ..
Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not delay.
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
