Romans 10:9 ‘That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.’ – Confession for overcomers
The Divine Exchange
Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven. Jesus was wounded that we might be healed. Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness that we might be made righteous with His righteousness.
Jesus died our death that we might receive His life. Jesus was made a curse that we might enter into the blessing. Jesus endured our poverty that we might share His abundance.
Jesus bore our shame that we might share His glory. Jesus endured our rejection that we might have His acceptance with the Father.
Jesus was cut off by death that we might be joined to God eternally. Our old man was put to death in Him that the new man might come to life in us.
Confession For Overcomers
My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed, and sanctified by the blood of Jesus.
My members, the parts of my body, are instruments of righteousness, yielded to God for His service and for His glory.
The devil has no place in me, no power over me, no unsettled claims against me. All has been settled by the blood of Jesus.
I overcome Satan by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony, and I do not love my life to the death. My body is for the Lord and the Lord is for my body.
By This I Overcome the Devil
I overcome Satan when I testify personally to what the Word of God says the blood of Jesus does for me.
Through the blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the devil. Through the blood of Jesus, all my sins are forgiven.
Through the blood of Jesus, I am continually being cleansed from all sin. Through the blood of Jesus, I am justified, made righteous, just-as- if-I’d never sinned.
Through the blood of Jesus, I am sanctified, made holy, set apart to God. Through the blood of Jesus, I have boldness to enter into the presence of God. The blood of Jesus cries out continually to God in heaven on my behalf.
