1 Samuel 8:5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

7 And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Watch And Pray
.. God is going to challenge us with these areas where we reject God for the simple reason that we have to be watchful. We don’t know when The Rapture is going to be, we are rapidly moving towards the end times – the great apostasy that is taking place – the falling away – God now shaking the heavens and the earth. Everything is being shaken.. where we see and even the world says that nothing is the same any more. It’s because God is shaking..
Hebrews 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
.. With the falling away we also see a famine in the land – a famine of hearing the Word of God..
Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:
Rejecting The Word Of Life
.. Most do not want to hear The Word – the deeper life in The Spirit. I know this from what I’m seeing online, most are rejecting what I’m teaching, they don’t want to hear it. They want to be told that they are doing fine, that God loves them and that they will have many blessings in their lives. When you teach the way of the cross – that we must go through much trial.. your numbers go right down..
1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
The Remnant
.. But you know what you’re left with a few who love The Lord, who hear not in the mind but in the heart – the spirit – faithfully listening to what The Lord gives through me and are following..
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
.. That’s what it’s about, that’s why the Great Shepherd goes out and looks for His sheep ..
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
We Are His Workmanship.. {Ephesians 2:10)
.. They hear and follow in order to be watchful.. ready.. discerning.. walking with The Lord.. not rejecting or resisting Him every time He’s trying to work in areas where we reject God. They are yielding and letting Him do that work and that peace then is there. He’s going to get us ready as those wise virgins with that extra vessel of oil who are trimming their lamps ready to go forward and meet the Bridegroom when He comes.. .. ..
