Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
God’s Will And Our Will
.. So it is the will of God to create – to cause us to exist. It is the will of God that we are able to breathe air and our hearts pumping away. It’s the will of God that we are here today in His presence to hear His Word. Everything is the will of God and He wants us to do His will. Sadly of course we know that when man fell from that standard that God had set in The Garden of Eden – we saw that he had a choice to do God’s will or to disobey. Sadly disobedience opened man’s mind and heart to Good and Evil – God never wanted that..
God’s Will In Christ..
.. Nevertheless we are now being restored back through Jesus Christ who did the will of The Father. He atoned for and redeemed us that now through Him we can walk out and do our Father’s will. You see The Lord never insists on having authority over us or over our wills, we are perfectly free to choose. [However the man or woman who is not in Jesus Christ is only free to choose which way to sin, that is the only freedom he/she has.] When God predestined all things He included man’s free choices and actions, that’s why He never stopped Eve from taking the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, she was at liberty to do so..
.. For God’s Glory
.. God warned what would happen but she still had a free choice. God had to predestinate man’s freedom to choose evil as well as good, if God didn’t do that man would be a robot and not able to glorify God in his right choices. That is why He has given us freedom to choose – it’s about His glory, everything is for the glory of God. Everything we do or say, our actions, our faith, our meeting together, our worshipping Him – everything is for the glory of God – including our free will.. .. ..
John 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
Acts 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
Isaiah 6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory..
..5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
