Romans 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Depend On Him
.. We live solely unto The Lord Jesus, He’s purchased us – redeemed us – we’re not our own any more. We musn’t live independently from Him any more. I belong to Him – where I go; what I do; what I see; who I meet with; who I talk to. In everything I am dependent on Him, that’s what it means, that is why we’re to rely.. believe.. reckon on Him.
.. It’s the same for us, what God did in raising Christ up is the same work He does for you and me. It’s no different, He’s simply the one who has gone before and prepared the way.. overcome the world. And so we likewise now overcome the world..
..He’s Working Within
.. Because we reckon it’s done we rely on the fact that He’s working a holy life in His likeness within us. He’s working faith within me even through the weaknesses of my faith He’s working a strong faith.. I rely on it and reckon it done. The same with fellowship with the Father – I rely on it and reckon it done. Even the trials and testings I go through – I rely and reckon it done.
.. The blessings I receive through a loving Father – I rely land reckon it done. The same revelation and understanding that Jesus had – I rely and reckon it done. Just as Jesus was raised from the dead so I rely on and reckon it done that I will be raised up in glory ..
Crucified Life
.. Sin can’t give you these blessings so we rely on the fact that we are dead to sin through Christ. In other words I am dead to continually sinning rebelling and coming against God, that’s what it means.. .. ..
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
