“I Have Overcome The World”
The deeper life teaching and faith message is based on Jesus statement ‘I have overcome the world’. It is by overcoming the world that the Bride makes herself ready. There is no bride with unfocused worldly heart and distracted eyes.
John 16:32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Revelation 14:1,4 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads .. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth..
The Focus Of Faith
The power to overcome resides in the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is the doorway to the deeper life. Where Jesus and faith are present so also is the Holy Spirit to inspire and empower.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Matthew 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
The real Jesus is to be seen revealed by the Spirit in everyday trials and challenges – in the reality of life. This is the focus of faith that captures the eyes of the overcomer bride.
Jesus Be The Center
Do we want to let go of self and stay with Jesus, letting God do what He wants with us or will we scatter? When you let go your destiny becomes clear as was Jesus’. If Jesus is not Lord we still serve goals independent of Him and we will scatter. God is looking for a permanent faith.
Revelation 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: .. and I will write upon him my new name.
James 1:6-8 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Philipians 3:10,11 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
