Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name..
The Church – Unity And The Cross
.. And so with The Church we must concentrate on Christ’s Body. He does nothing outside The Body. We know that whether it be Jew Greek Bond of Free all are one now under that banner – The Lord Jesus Christ Himself. We must not lose sight of this as a lot of our brothers and sisters are doing. The problem is that the function of The Church is one of the least understood. Why? Because it requires The Cross. It requires a willingness to yield to the oneness and unity of The Body of Christ that God puts you in. We’re not always going to get on with one another, but that is where you learn the love of God..
The Faithful Church
.. That is where you learn to go that extra mile. That is where you learn the grace love and mercy of God. He chooses who He wants not what we want unlike so many churches today that are cliquey. No, this is the church [Philadelphia] that we glean and learn from. Why? Because it is a church that is faithful. It is known for it’s faithfulness and it’s love. We also know that this church unlike the others has no reproof. They are Spirit filled – the walk by The Spirit and by faith.
To The Ends Of The Earth
It is a church that is missionary in every way.. that wants to spread and share The Word of God. It stands through corruption .. all deceit and heresies. It’s a church that’s worthy of preaching and teaching The Gospel to the ends of the earth. That is why I have always counted it a privilege to be able to teach the Deeper Life Teaching which is The Word of God and that it is going to the four corners of the earth. Mark me it is going. God we know is using the internet technology in which to do it. And God expects that from this church as little as it is with little strength that is has because then it’s all of God.. .. ..
..9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
