1 Corinthians 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

The Call To Stewardship
.. He gives the great commission to go out and make disciples, ‘preach the gospel’, ‘be about the kingdom of God’, ‘be busy in the vineyard’ – working. He gives gifts and natural gifts to the church so that we ‘stir them up’ by faith as the Spirit leads, all so that we are faithful stewards..
Equipped For Stewardship
.. No one who is truly born again of The Spirit will be able to say ‘God didn’t give me anything to work with.’ He most certainly has, He has placed Himself in you and I. It’s as we yield over to Him – The Spirit – then He will work through us, but He won’t do it independently of you, you work together.
Union And Stewardship
.. My preaching this word means that I work with Him, I have to do my bit as well. That’s what it means – it’s union. You work together in union and oneness – exactly as in friendship and fellowship as believers and in marriage..
The Example Of A Faithful Steward
.. Jesus gave examples of His stewardship that God had entrusted to Him. Look what God had placed upon Him – all governments are upon His shoulder. He divested Himself as we know in Philippians 2:5 and took on human form. What for?
