Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
A Daily Walk
.. But as we continue daily walking with Him in faith and obedience and covenant so He works this by The Spirit within our heart and nature and it makes us teachable.. ‘ Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. ‘
2 Peter 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Are You Teachable ?
.. It’s because you are teachable – you are humble in spirit. You are gentle you are kind.. slow to take or give offence. You have a self control about you – you are lowly in mind. They are the ones who are going to rule and reign with Christ on the earth. It all starts by being teachable..
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
.. So many professing Christians are not teachable.. they want God on their own terms. They have their own agenda.. their own interpretation of The Word of God. They don’t listen to The Holy Spirits teaching – that unction, that anointing. The humble in spirit will hear because they are teachable.
Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.2 The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.
Proverbs 16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
1 Peter 2:19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Revelation 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Matthew 20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
